——Calcining lime in cement kiln with calciner system
Traditional lime kiln calcination technology: generally, shaft kiln or rotary kiln system with preheating tower is adopted. These two systems have strict requirements on limestone hardness, grade and particle size (10-20 mm particle size), long calcination time (more than 1 hour from feeding into kiln to discharging from kiln), high calcination heat consumption and serious pollution.
New calcination technology of lime kiln: the suspension preheater and combustion furnace system are used to calcine the ground limestone (below 75um) by heat exchange. The finished products are collected by suspension cooler, and the hot air after heat exchange of suspension cooler is used as the secondary air of calciner combustion. This process requires low hardness grade of limestone, short calcination time (about 50 seconds from feeding to calcination), high calcination efficiency and low heat consumption. But because of the need of suspension preheating and suspension cooling, the cost of civil construction frame is high, and the new construction of raw material grinding and fuel preparation also increases the one-time investment; In production, the high temperature fan needs to provide the fluid kinetic energy of the whole suspension system, which has high pressure head and high power consumption.
The latest technological breakthrough in the field of lime calcination: calcination by using the decomposition system outside the dry rotary kiln of cement plant. The kiln + furnace (two fires) calcination system is used in the dry process rotary kiln system, while the calcination furnace (one fire) is only used for lime calcination. The high temperature products calcined in the calciner are no longer put into the kiln, but are efficiently cooled by the horizontal air trough cooling box located in the flue chamber at the end of the original kiln, and the hot air after heat exchange is used to support the combustion of the calciner. The process relies on the cement clinker production line to the maximum extent, which can realize the seamless conversion of cement clinker and lime production. The transformation investment is low, and the lime calcination time is short (about 27 seconds after feeding). It is suitable for raw materials with loose texture and low grade, and the process is flexible and convenient, The diversity of calcination products is convenient for enterprises to timely respond to market demand and industrial policy regulation.
